Sustainability

We rely on electricity generation through photovoltaics and heat generation through wood chips. A step into the right future.

  • 1600 m² solar modules with approx. 450 kWp
  • Woodchip heating with 350 kW and a woodchip bunker of approx. 110m³
  • Underfloor heating in office and production

At AGS, we actively commit to environmental protection and a sustainable future. Continuously, we strive to minimize our ecological footprint and make our processes more resource-efficient. This includes measures such as using environmentally friendly materials, shortening our transportation routes, and reducing waste.
Our guiding principle, "Nothing is so good that it cannot be made a little better," forms the central foundation for all our business activities. We are aware of our responsibility to the environment and are dedicated to ensuring that future generations inherit a pristine environment.

Development aid - support

We support the founder of AGS Automations Greifsysteme Schwope GmbH, Franz Schwope in his development project in Africa - Uganda - Kampala - Kitulikizi.

Kitulikizi is a village of 1,000 souls, red earth, wood and clay huts with corrugated iron roofs, open cooking areas, a few animals, a few fields, a church. Water comes from the well, and when the sun goes down at seven in the evening, it gets dark in the huts, because there is no electricity here. A village like many others in Africa. But in just five years, Kitulukizi will be a village that serves as a role model; a village where others travel to see how things can be different. This is how Franz Schwope has set out to do it.

Here, Franz Schwope has set himself the goal of improving the standard of living in this village with energetic support. It's like a business game - only not on the computer, but for real in the middle of the African bush.
